At FBC Giddings, we believe in raising up strong, Christ-centered leaders who can impact their communities. Our mission is to disciple students by guiding them in their faith, equipping them with biblical truths, and empowering them to lead with boldness.
What is The Yard?
The Yard is our youth program for students in grades 6-12, meeting most Sunday evenings during the school year from 5:30-7:30 pm. It’s a place where students can gather, grow, and have fun while deepening their relationship with Jesus. With worship, engaging messages, small groups, and activities, The Yard is designed to be a space where teens feel connected and challenged in their faith.
What to Expect on Sunday Nights
Sunday Nights at The Yard
5:30 pm: Yard Time (Hangout)
5:50 pm: Kick off games/activities
6:00 pm:
Worship and teaching time
Small group discussions
7:00 pm: Yard Time (Hangout)
7:30 pm: Dismissal

We believe students are not just the church of tomorrow but the church of today. Through discipleship, mentorship, and leadership opportunities, The Yard encourages students to take ownership of their faith and step into roles where they can serve and lead.
